On previous versions I had Next and Previous buttons which were very handy for scrolling through lists of email. Is there a way I can add them to the current Thunderbird? Thanks.

I have started using Thunderbird Version 128.1.0esr (64-bit)on two systems and I have noticed when the program starts up it takes more than minute to "settle down" and work properly without the system ask me if I want to wait for the program to respond.

I have constant problems with logging into my three outlook accounts. I'm learning that Microsoft requires new information. I've read and tried information I have found on outside sources, but nothing is working. Also, I deleted a password for one account and now, I cannot see, read, or access that account (Thunderbird is not sending the request for the password.)

Recently I'm unable to view any email message info when on my desktop PC, but can view that info when using my Android phone. Why did this start happening, & how can it be fixed?

I can receive mail, but when i want to send mail its impossible because the send buttun is gone. How come and what to do? I have reinstalled Thunderbird but same problem appear.

Installed an updated Thunderbird, and now it want to open attachments with "System Handler" and I do not know what that is and it does not recognize my installed applications to open applications. It does not fined LibreOffice, Evince, Image viewer, gThumb and so on. None of my applications. That means I can not open any attachments to Thunderbird, I can only save them in the file type they come in such as .xls. How do I get rid of System Handler and have Thunderbird use my resident applications.

"Set up your existing email address" will not work. Thunderbird stopped working no outgoing no incoming. Deleted account then downloaded new Thunderbird. Entering correct name, correct email address and password (also tried with no password) finds set up on Mozilla ISP sever. Select 'Done' brings up message "Cannot log in to server. Probably wrong configuration, username or password". This unsolvable for me now as I have tried everything I know and suggested in Help.

The above problem is copied from 1 year ago, now I have exactly the same problem again. Thunderbird suddenly stopped working. It would open but nothing shows on Inbox Sent or files etc. I have tried everything suggested. but nothing works. Have deleted everything Thunderbird and re downloaded Thunderbird Selecting the app shows that Thunderbird is 28.1.0esr (64-bit) version. I am now at a total loss to get Thunderbird back in operation.

This morning when I opened Thunderbird one of my email accounts displays the following for each email received since last night:

"--Apple-Mail=_DE41C5E1-7C51-4E82-AF8A-33451E8D062D-- --Apple-Mail=_15B38F36-FA9F-4D37-9155-2CF8D584427A-- "

I am on a windows computer. The other two email accounts I have in Thunderbird appear normal The emails on my email provider's server appear normal

Any thoughts as to what the problem is and how to fix?

I have folders that i save my bills etc but when i go to check them they are empty. This has only recently happened, could an update cause the problem . 'bold te xt'

Yesterday, after downloading my emails from the weekend and deleting all of the junk mail Thunderbird suggested I compact my Inbox. I went and emptied my trash folder and then compacted my inbox. After the compacting was complete I could not get any of my emails to load in the preview window or in a new window. I then went to properties and tried the "repair". After that I lost all of my emails back to 5-24-21. Is there anyway to recover my lost emails?

i was able to see all of the emails for some accounts that no longer have a working login, but now they are all just empty with only 1 fake inbox folder, so where did it all go and how can i get them back? it even finds them via the main ctrl+k search, but dont show any in the inbox folder anymore (there are also no profiles under the hamburger help menu etc... and i probably just copied them into a new folder after renaming the 1st clean installation folder etc...)

When I tried to set up a second email account (peters-up40@t-online.de), I received the following error message: "login to the server failed. The configuration, username or password may not be correct." The new address is correct, it was confirmed to me by Telekom. The PW is the same as in my first email address. What did I do wrong? I see lots of posts about emails disappearing but none exactly fit my situation.

I find messages disappearing especially when I move them to another folder. My config is TB115.10.1 Been using TB for countless years as an excellent app. After update 115 it has turned into a real mess for me. Always been POP accounts. Gmail is the server. All mail left on the server unless I delete it. I create a new POP account every year to keep track of emails by year. Have lots of folders to place the inbox messages.

For about a week now, when I move a message to a folder. Say Paid" or "Cars", the message is no longer visible or selectable. I have read/unread/folder size turned on under my Inbox. So I know the missing messages are there in the folder but I cannot see them or select them. Some of the folders contents have completely disappeared. This a disaster for me. Has just started happening but was working fine before this TB update. Never happened before.

Another note. Just discovered that ALL the read messages have become invisible and unselectable even in the Inbox. Only the unread messages are visible. I will appreciate someone's kind help. Davol

I'm looking for a method of customising the preview pane headers so that it displays more than From: To: Subject: and Tags: but I can't find an add-on that does this.

In particular I'm looking to display the Resent-From: header or even better any headers that match a regular expression I specify.

saya coba memasukan email microsoft saya ke thunderbird, pertama saya memilih pilihan exchange/Office365 saat masuk, akan tetapi emailnya tidak terbaca, lalu saya coba memilih opsi lain yaitu dengan imap. email masuk dan email terkirim terbaca akan tetapi saya tidak dapat mengirim pesa.

My Thunderbird email account always asked for a password to contact host. This request for password has disappeared the last coupleof days .The email is working fine. A couple of weeks ago I had a request from mozilla thunderbird to agree to an update alowing change in the computer . I agreed. Could this resulted in loss of password request ? I have a Thunderbird calendar as part of my Thunderbird email service on my laptop. It is not a Google calendar. I can see my Thunderbird email on my Android phone, but not my Thunderbird calendar.

When I go to the Calendar tab on my phone when in Thunderbird, it shows me a Google calendar, not my Thunderbird calendar.

What do I need to do to see my Thunderbird calendar on my phone?
